Cathy Angier is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals heal from relational trauma, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthier patterns in their lives and relationships. With extensive experience working with adults navigating complex emotional challenges, Cathy brings a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to her clinical work.

Cathy serves as Clinical Director for the Green Shoe Foundation, where she helps guide the therapeutic programming of the organization’s intensive retreats. In this role, she works closely with clinicians and participants to support deep emotional healing and meaningful personal growth. Her work is grounded in the belief that when individuals are provided with safe spaces, skilled guidance, and supportive community, profound transformation can occur.

In her clinical work, Cathy focuses on helping individuals understand the impact of early relational experiences, build emotional awareness, and reconnect with their inherent worth. She is known for creating a therapeutic environment that balances warmth, authenticity, and thoughtful clinical insight, allowing clients to explore difficult experiences while developing new tools for healing and growth.

Cathy is committed to supporting lasting change and empowering individuals to move forward with greater clarity, connection, and self-compassion.

Outside of her work at Green Shoe, Cathy finds joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and pets, catching an OU football/softball game or cheering on the Thunder,  and curing up with a good book. Her love of cheetah print is a playful reminder that healing and strength can also be bold, expressive, and full of personality.
