Karyll Honeycutt
Therapist, LCSW
Karyll Honeycutt is a licensed clinical social worker and board-trained social work supervisor with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit and government entities, with roles ranging from program manager to therapist. Karyll has worked as a therapist for the past 14 years, starting her journey working with girls and their families, both individually and in group settings. She eventually entered a private practice where she worked with individuals, couples and families.
Karyll specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression and suicide prevention. She integrates interventions to create a care plan that addresses the impact of trauma on the individual. She relies on her extensive training and incorporates techniques from CBT, DBT and IFS therapy, and holds various trauma and suicide prevention trainings.
Karyll embodies the belief that we are all inherently worthy, navigating the human experience while trying to bring balance and functionality to our daily lives. She carries a warm and inclusive presence to everyone she encounters. Her passion for working with others to identify unhealed wounds led her to Green Shoe, where she is humbled and excited to work with individuals to deepen their healing and propel them toward desired outcomes.
When she’s not working, Karyll finds balance with family and friends, enjoying familiar activities or seeking new ones. As a student of life, Karyll enjoys learning new things — like languages, recipes and skills — and finds satisfaction in reading both fiction and nonfiction books.
