Melia Mullins
Therapist, LCSW

Before becoming a licensed clinical social worker, Melia Mullins earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2008 from Oklahoma Christian University and spent years as an educator and school resource counselor, where she discovered her natural ability to connect, nurture growth and help others find confidence in their own potential. That same heart for guiding and empowering others eventually led her to the field of clinical social work.

Melia earned her Master of Social Work from Tulane University in 2022, where she also received a special certificate in addiction, trauma and the family. She has completed advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Somatic methods and Polyvagal Theory. These integrative approaches allow her to meet clients where they are, helping them build safety within themselves and move toward healing with curiosity and compassion.

With experience supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, addiction recovery, attachment wounds and life transitions, Melia brings both expertise and genuine empathy to her work. Her goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel deeply seen, supported and empowered to reconnect with their inner strength and sense of wholeness. Melia has spent time in leadership roles, training and supervising teams, while also enjoying the presence of individuals in practice.

When she’s not in session, Melia finds balance outdoors with her family, whether walking, hiking or simply enjoying time in nature with their dogs. A lifelong learner, she loves reading fantasy novels and neuroscience books, finding inspiration in the beauty of the mind and the resilience of the human spirit. She brings that same curiosity, warmth and dedication to her work at Green Shoe, where she is honored to walk alongside others on their path toward healing and transformation.
