Melody Martin
Operations Manager

Before joining Green Shoe as Operations Manager, Melody Martin built a career in operations, communications, and community engagement, serving in roles that combined strategic planning with heart-centered service. With more than eight years of experience in nonprofit management and public relations, and as a certified peer recovery support specialist, she brings both organizational insight and a deep passion for recovery and meaningful connection.

A member of the Cherokee Nation, Melody also spent four years working in tribal health, where she developed a deep appreciation for culturally grounded care and the importance of community-centered healing.

Born and raised on a farm in Oklahoma, Melody has a lifelong connection to the land, the outdoors, and conservation. She and her husband live in McLoud, where they raised their two sons and continue to steward their property through forestry and wildlife habitat preservation.

She enjoys working alongside her husband on ranch projects and caring for their Friesian horses — a shared passion that reflects her appreciation for strength, beauty, and intentional care. Whether at home or at Green Shoe, Melody is drawn to creating environments that feel welcoming, steady, and thoughtfully cared for, where both people and purpose can thrive.
